Hornbill Friends
Zhongdong Primary School
Zhongdong Primary school is in Zhongdong, the major town near Xidamingshan. The students there know alot about the environment and are concerned about protecting nature. We will work together to raise awareness about the Oriental Pied Hornbills and learn about what needs to be done to protect them and their habitat. The students and their teachers are very active and ethusiastic. They enjoy learning about hornbills, their habitat, and the forest ecosytem of Xidamingshan. They are great friends to the XDMS hornbills. Click here to read more.

Volunteers are the key to the Hornbill Project's future success. Right now we have volunteers from China and from overseas, from near and from far. The love of nature and passion for protecting it that our volunteers bring to the project is invaluable. Your skills, talents, and knowledge might be just what we need for our project. We welcome anyone interested in protecting the environment to be our volunteer. We hope our next volunteer is YOU! Click here to learn more.
